Absolutely 100% correct

There should be no timescales or amount of games before they sack him, it has to be based on material improvement.

Can they see that there is a noticeable improvement in our way of playing, if not he has to go, it wont get any better...typically you get green shoots you can witness.... you can see a plan is developing, a style of football.

With this lot we have no style, no identity, we have not improved

Had a decent 18 months and got linked with various bigger clubs, believes he's better than us so has become a lazy fat cunt.

Re: Antonio
agreed about Antonio however he was not alone, there was a general lack of effort all round.

It seems hard to believe but it could be Pellegrini could be on his way very soon. I know this is a project but the lack of bite in any of our games to date stems from the manager and coaches

Re: Antonio
he has a serious attitude problem his body language says it all, he’s not been the same since Chelsea were allegedly after him he’s been sulky ever since and stems back to Bilic days when he turned up late, he was our best player but he doesn’t deserve the shirt and I would sell at the earliest opportunity now no signs he wants to work for the team

Agree that he used to play with a smile on his face the daft goal celebrations was all part of his makeup.
Now he looks a completely different player devoid of any confidence and ability.

Re: Antonio
The smile energy and enthusiasm completely missing from his game...the very thing he built himself on....forgotten his beginnings....he and snodgrass swapped sides yesterday and whilst doing so he werent even looking at the play and that we were in possession...totally oblivious

Re: Antonio
My dislike of Antonio stems from the fact that his ego was too big to play at full back where he was becoming a serious player.

I've got to say I thought Snodgrass and Anderson were equally shit, Anderson probably worse.

athletico, he's getting so much grief because he was fucking shit.

Re: Antonio
He doesn't fit the side any more.

He got an effort on target, which is totally against the team ethic...

Re: Antonio
Not quite sure why this bloke is getting so much grief.

At least I knew he was playing unlike the gutless coward Anderson.

He looks like snodgrass did last year....

Re: Antonio
Got a MATE who I have known since 1990... played for years in the same Sunday team... I run the team now and he is still playing at the age of 46.... even now he has everything.... pace, strength, superb in the air, stamina, skill, great heading ability, can tackle... should have made it big time and earnt a decent living out of the game...his only problem... he has no football brain... for 5 games a season he wins games on his own... the other 20 odd... might as well play with 10 men... that's Antonio

Woody777 12:20 Sun Sep 2
Re: Antonio
The guys a gutless coward....faking injury....then when chance presented itself to shoot lays it off...should have been hooked at half time and that's being generous

Re: Antonio
Told this before on prev Antonio threads.... when we signed him I spoke to a Forest MATE of mine at what he was like... he replied if he had a brain he'd be a International ... nothing has changed

Re: Antonio
Not saying I think he's playing great. I'm saying I don't see the same attributes in the alternatives. With Carroll out nobody else is an aerial threat and nobody else gets in the box. That's why he's playing. I don't see a better idea.

If you spend 60m+ and give huge contracts to 4 non-physical ball-playing no 10s, this is the situation you get into. The balance of the forwards is all wrong. This is why Snodgrass and Antonio are in the team by default.

unexpected places? the cunt fell asleep today during the game, that's how uninterested he was. pellegrini shpuld have thrown on a duvet for the useless fucker

Re: Antonio
He was very good at one point. He’s lost his way.

Moyes would have brought much better performances from him.

He probably thinks Pellegrini is a berk - and he wouldn’t be far wrong.
